Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: your email address and sign-in provider (Google or email/password), handled by Firebase Authentication.
• Profile: gender, age, country, and the interests you choose.
• Messages: chat messages are retained for up to 24 hours for abuse review, then deleted automatically. Conversations under an open moderation report are kept until the report is resolved.
• Safety data: reports you file or that are filed against you, and your block list.

What strangers see

Only your country flag, your gender, and the interests you share with them. Never your name, email, age, or anything else.

Where data lives

StrangerChat runs on Google Firebase (Firestore, Realtime Database, Authentication, Hosting). Data is processed under Google’s Firebase privacy terms. We do not sell your data and there is no advertising.

Payments

If you purchase Pro, your payment is handled entirely by Razorpay. Your card, UPI, or banking details go directly to Razorpay and never touch our servers. We store only the transaction reference, plan purchased, amount, and your Pro expiry date — the minimum needed to activate your benefits and handle refunds.

Cookies

We use only the storage Firebase needs to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics.

Deleting your data

Email admin@strangerchat.pro from your account email and we will delete your account and profile within 30 days.

Age requirement

StrangerChat is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
